Ravensdown’s Way to Wellbeing

As part of their September Five Ways to Wellbeing initiative, Ravensdown wanted to organise a nationwide community food drive. Working with Aotearoa Food Rescue Alliance (AFRA), the agricultural co-op selected Kairos Food Rescue as the recipient for their drive in their three Christchurch/Methven based offices.

Brydie, Operations Manager at Kairos, liaised with Luke and Talia from Ravensdown, for delivery and receipt of all donated goods. Brydie was impressed with thought that went behind the offerings. “It was a great mix of dry goods,” she said. “Not just tinned food, but very well thought out food donations.”

A big shout-out to the team at Ravendown, not just for thinking of Kairos, but for putting their heart into the community!
