It began in 2018 with an idea. Beth Hutt managed a cafe in Christchurch. She was troubled by the amount of food wasted at the end of each day and decided to do something about it.
And just look where we are now!

Your weekly or monthly donation will allow Kairos to:
Pay the rent on our warehouse facilities so that we can keep processing bulk food donations for redistribution to local food banks.
Pay a living wage to our hard-working staff who oversee food collection and distribution and coordination of volunteers.
Pay operating expenses like power, petrol and vehicle maintenance.
